CBBC's COVERED BRIDGES RIDE - 30th ANNUAL

This is THE premier cycling event in scenic Bucks County. Timed each year to be held on a rain-free weekend with the gorgeous fall colors shouting out, the CBR, as our members call it, is our best event ever.

We added a lower-cost family day on Saturday so families and those wishing to ride shorter routes, our 20 or 30-mile routes, can ride on either Saturday or Sunday. Fatter tired bikes work best on the cinder based paths for the 20 and 30 mile routes. Saturday's rides visit one or two bridges. There is one rest stop; Saturday rides do not include lunch.

Sunday remains as always, with five great routes to choose from -- 20, 30, 33, 50 or 63 miles -- loads of food, and our prized long-sleeve T-shirt designed by our own John Cole. Travel through up to six historic covered bridges. The Sunday rides conclude with a Grande Finale Picnic!

Rides start and end at Tinicum Park, along the shores of the Delaware River. The CBR has been hailed in the Bucks County Herald and other papers. Join 2000 riders from all over the northeastern United States and ride through some of the most beautiful areas in this part of the world.

Preregistration is available thru Active.com, or you can download a mail-in registration form. (Note: mail-in registration is $5 additional, to encourage online registration, which is more efficient, and offset the small fee that Active.com charges.)
