BCP is pleased to present our third annual
“Non-Profit Fair: Give Back, Get Involved"
Several local bike-related non-profit organizations will be sharing with us their inspiring missions and achievements, in serving the community and helping people to improve their lives. Leaders of these organizations will also explain how we cyclists can get involved in their bike-related programs, and make a positive difference in the community.
This program will include presentations from: Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports, Gearing Up, Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, the Ride of Silence, “Y” Bicycle Association, Bike and Build, and Neighborhood Bike Works.
Refreshments will be served, and we will have raffle prizes to give away. We will set up a display table, for other non-profit causes to make their literature available.

DATE: Saturday, March 12, 2016

TIME: Doors open at 3:30pm for socializing & refreshments. Program begins at 4:00pm. There will be a brief intermission mid-program for refreshments and networking. The program should wrap-up around 6:00-ish, in order to not conflict with other social events in the evening.

VENUE: Cadence Cycling & Multi-Sport Cntr 215-508-4300, cadencecycling.com.
Cadence has moved to a new location: 5000 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia, 19128. This is at the bottom of the hill on Ridge Ave, where Manayunk’s Main St merges into Ridge. Cadence is near SEPTA’s Wissahickon Transit Center, where the Wisshickon Creek flows into the Schuylkill River. We will be gathering in the Indoor Training/Spinning Studio, next to the "Endless Pool".

PARKING: There’s a free, off-street lot behind the building, which Cadence shares with “Restaurant Depot.”

PUBLIC TRANSIT: SEPTA’s Wissahickon Transit Center is immediately adjacent to Cadence. Several buses stop at this point. Cadence is also close to the Wissahickon train station, served by the Manayunk/Norristown Rail Line. Please visit septa.org for complete transit details.

VOLUNTEEERS NEEDED: If you are able to help with either set-up (arriving at 3:00), or with clean-up (after the program), THANK YOU for volunteering! Please contact Linda McGrane to discuss how you are able to help. 267-251-7862, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
