SUN DECEMBER 31, 2023 - SUNDAY AFTERNOON POST-HIKE WINTER RAMBLE RIDE
Level B-/C+: 13-14mph, 39 miles. Meet at McCausland Middle School parking lot of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. The ride leaves at 1:00 pm. Post-hike afternoon ride from Springside Chestnut Hill Academy to the Barnes & Noble Cafe in Devon for a quick coffee/snack/bathroom rest break. Outbound and return mainly on the flat Schuylkill River Trail and the Chester Valley Trail Connector between Norristown/Bridgeport and Devon. Rest stop at Barnes & Noble is at the half-way point. Total climbing 1820 ft. Plan is to return before 5:00pm. PLEASE BRING LIGHTS, for illumination and safety towards the end of our ride. START/FINISH at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy: large parking lot at 8000 Cherokee st. The on-line route map is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45225902.
