Fri May 9, 2025 - Friday Frolic w/Linda Watching the Weather - Weaver's Way Co-Op in Ambler to Doylestown for Coffee
Level C+: 12-13mph, 34 miles. Meet at Weaver's Way Co-Op Market in Ambler. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. For May 9: Pretty loop through Montgomery and Bucks Counties. Keeping a close eye on the weather forecasts , re. when the rain arrives. From Weaver's Way Co-Op Market in Ambler, we'll head to the 202 Parkway Trail and cycle north to Doylestown for a quick coffee & snack break at Starbucks. Return from Doylestown to Ambler via Warrington and Horsham. Total climbing 1742 ft. The Start/Finish (Weaver's Way in Ambler) has restrooms and a food court. WEATHER WATCH: If it's raining at start time, ride is cancelled. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check daily calendar for details of each Friday's route. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk. As long as we are enjoying outdoor exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing. Cue sheets will be available.
