SUN MARCH 24, 2024 - SUNDAY PM EARLY-SPRING QUICK LOOP: AMBLER TO BACK YARD BEANS IN LANSDALE

Level B-/C+: 13-14mph, 26 miles. Meet at Septa parking lot - Ambler Regional Rail station. The ride leaves at 1:15 pm. This Sunday afternoon loop is a follow-up (or a sequel) to a morning ride led by Katie, leaving from/returning to the same meeting point This 26-mile pretty loop meanders from Ambler to Lansdale, for a quick coffee/snack break at Back Yard Beans. Outbound via Montgomeryville, return via North Wales. Cycle through quiet Gwynedd both to and from. Rest stop at Back Yard Beans at Mile 15. Route includes some paved park paths/trails. Total elevation gain 1240 ft, averaging less than 48 ft/mile. MEETING POINT: SEPTA parking lot for the Ambler train station, across from Wake Coffee. PUBLIC TRANSIT access: If you are coming from the city, you could take the R5 Regional Rail train to Ambler. The on-line route map is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45928080.
