Fri September 6, 2024 - GOOD COFFEE (or Tea) - Yardley, Bucks Co. to Boro Bean in Hopewell & Pennington, NJ. CO-LEADER(S) WELCOME
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34966922
Level B-/C+: 13-14mph, 46 miles. Meet at Large parking lot on South Main St, Yardley, PA. The ride leaves at 8:30 am. Pretty and scenic loop from Yardley, PA (Bucks Co.) to Washington Crossing, then a meander through historic Mercer County, NJ. Stop in the darling town of Hopewell, and stop for coffee/lunch at the popular Boro Bean cafe, at Mile 24. Boro Bean has outdoor tables. From Hopewell, cycle past more green landscapes to Pennington. We'll cross a couple of brooks/creeks. On the return, if another rest break is needed, we can stop in Pennington at Mile 33, or on the PA side of Washington Crossing at Mile 40. The middle portion of the route has some hills, but no killer climbs. The beginning and final stretches on River Rd and River Drive are flat. Total elevation 2144 ft, averaging 46 feet/mile. START/FINISH in Yardley: Large parking lot at 25 South Main St, where Vince's Pizza is located. There is a Wawa with public restrooms across the street. Please preregister (see link below) to save writing time at the ride start. CO-LEADER(S) WELCOME: If you would like to lead a group at an alternative pace, THANK YOU! Please contact LMc to have your name and pace added to the Ride Calendar. The on-line route map is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34966922. Preregistration is required, please preregister by Friday, September 6, 2024 at 8:30 am.
