Join me every Thursday on a "C" (~12 to 13 mph) ride leaving from the back parking lot at North Penn High School in Lansdale (GPS coordinates = 40.236650, -75.316290). Average speed in beginning of season will be around 12 mph and will progress to around 13 mph later in the season. We usually head away from town and ride the rolling hills of the surrounding area. We ride until dark. Distance will increase as daylight increases - expect 20-30 mile rides with no rest stops. No night riding. Active or imminent rain, extreme heat (>95 degrees), tornado warnings, high winds, & poor air quality cancel ride. Cancellations will be posted on CBBC Ride forum. This path is up to 14 Miles up and back with crushed gravel underfoot. The Forbidden Trail runs along the Wissahickon Creek in Wissahickon Valley Park. This trail runs the length of Wissahickon Valley Park with tons of great views. For those that play Pickleball, we plan to play Pickleball at Water Tower Rec after biking.

The first couple/few rides will be 25-30 miles while the rides in June/July will likely get to be 40 miles long. Will head out to Wrightstown/Upper Make/Solebury to avoid traffic. No stops.
